Production planning & control is a predetermined process with a sequence of steps to empower manufacturers to work smarter and better to meet customer demands. The production capacity of the manufacturer should always exceed the order quantity given by the customer. This is to ensure that the factory can process their product within the given date and time. Suppliers with lower manufacturing capacity might outsource their production to sub-suppliers. Though production is increased, there might be a delay in shipping and misunderstanding regarding the product quality requirements.

Routing:


It states the sequence of work and operations. They determine the flow of raw material to the factory. Planning board should be aware of what to produce when to produce it, and how much to produce. Once the sequences are followed, raw materials are transferred to finished goods.  


Schedule:


We, Navasthala always determine the time needed for the process, resources, and machines to complete a certain step, activity, or task. A good factory should plan and prepare well for all the disruptions. They should also take labor shortages and equipment failures into consideration.Different types of schedules such as Master, operation, and daily schedules were followed to manage the time element. 


Dispatching:


After ensuring every operation is carried out successfully, we move towards dispatch. Dispatching includes the release of orders, in accordance with the scheduled charts.  We always maintain the records from start to end. The actual implementation plans were put to work.  This is the stage where the production orders fuel the onward movement on the production line.


Follow-up:


Follow-up is the stage where faults, defects, and loopholes in the entire production process are identified and checked. Our production team measures the actual performance and then compares it with the expected one. They promote seamless production by eliminating such defects.You cannot check how effective a particular process is unless you don't follow up. 


Inspection:


Inspection audits are conducted to ensure everything under the production has met the proper quality standards. 


Correction:


Once the results are seen, Navasthala takes the necessary action to correct any issues or errors. This is crucial to make the process more efficient in the future.
